Ogun NIPR Hosts First Ever Owanbe Nite- A Fashion of Culture, Style and PR Excellence.

Ogun State Chapter, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), will on Thursday, 4th December, 2025 organise its annual End of the Year Get-Together, tagged “Owanbe Nite Season 1”, a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity and professionalism.

The event will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Event Towers, Kuto, Abeokuta, with the red carpet starting at 4:00 pm and the main Owanbe Nite kicking off at 5:00pm.

In a release signed by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mrs Adijat Olaleye, described Owanbe Nite as a groundbreaking platform designed to honour cultural heritage, while strengthening the bonds across the three Senatorial Districts within the PR community.

“The event is more than a party. It is about showcasing the beauty of our culture, the pride of our profession and the power of unity”, she stated.

The night will feature: Adire Aso-Ebi showcases, colourful Senatorial Districts’ parades, dance and awards.

Dignitaries expected at the event include, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, as the Patron and Chief Host, his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, as Mother of the Day, while the First Lady of the State, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun would be a Special Guest of Honour.

The Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Adelola, Matemilola, would be the Royal Father of the Day, while Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, would be the Chairman of the occasion.The release further stated that admission to the event is strictly by dress code and access card.
