‘REVEREND FOLA ACHUDUME TASKS TEENAGERS ON SELF-REALISATION AND ACTUALISATION’

It was indeed a very rewarding experience for youths drawn from different secondary schools in Ogun State as they converged on the Victory Plaza, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital this Thursday for the first ever Special Teenagers Conference, with the theme “I Will Shine” organised by ‘Save Her Foundation’.

The Convener and Founder – ‘Save Her Foundation’, Reverend Mrs Fola Achudume was full of joy as she addressed hundreds of teenagers at the programme, describing children as them as the heritage of the Lord.

According to her, the society is confronted with many challenges that affect the upcoming generation, like drug abuse, child molestation, mental health concerns, depression, peer pressure, violence, among others, noting that they demand immediate attention.

Reverend Mrs Achudume observed sadly, that these challenges have a noticeable lack of empathy and understanding, and called for pro-activeness from all and sundry.

The Wife Of the Setman at the Victory Life Bible Church, International, Apostle Lawrence Achudume encouraged the teenagers to always believe in themselves, urging them to discover their inner strengths and fully utilize them towards a blissful future.

She, however, opined that in the face of these challenges, the budding teenagers have great potentials, and if well channeled, positively shape their future.

Reverend Mrs Achudume opined that with an unwavering confidence of the teenagers, their lights will shine brightly, thus illuminating the path for others to follow with divine presence of God in their lives.

Reverend Fola Achudume thanked the Management and teaching staff of the participating schools for making their students available and expressed optimism that the teenagers will exemplify honour, uphold the tenets of our faith and serve as role models for all.

Reverend Mrs Achudume equally expressed her gratitude to the invited Speakers and Guests for creating time to be at the event, particularly the experience shared at the gathering.
