Applause as Crescent University Nursing Scores 100% in Public Exam

Nursing undergraduates of Crescent University, Abeokuta,have once again, clinched one hundred percent success in the 2025 Midwifery Examination (RM).

It will be recalled that Crescent University Nursing Department had recorded similar feats in nursing, midwifery and public health examinations in recent past.

According to the Head of Department of Nursing, Dr Ademola Shafiu, who presented the results to the vice chancellor and members of the university management, this feat made the sixth consecutive time the department of nursing would score one hundred percent in public examinations.

He applauded the students particularly “for keeping the flag flying for the sixth consecutive time” while also urging the federal government of Nigeria to see to the welfare of nurses to prevent brain drain currently bedeveling the country’s healthcare sector.

In his vote of thanks, the president of the Association of Student Nurses, Crescent University, Mr Damilare Karunwi lauded the head of department, Dr Ademola Shafiu and other faculty members for leading students to victories.

The university registrar, Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola, Bursar Alhaji Gbadebo Ogunmefun, Head of Department of Mass Communication, Dr Kola Adesina, Scholar Akanji Olaniyi (Coordinator of part-time programmes) and Mr Idris Katib (Principal Assistant Registrar, Public Relations) witnessed the presentation.

Also, members of the committee for the forthcoming convocation play from Ogun State Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Mr Owolabi Ajasa,Mr Adedeji Adesina and Madam Yetunde Kehinde Aina coincidentally witnessed the presentation.
