The Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta community have been urged to maximize the great advantage of “Book Eyes” – a digital Library scanning phenomenon .
According to the University Librarian, Dr Owolabi Kehinde – the Nimbe Adedipe Library now offers a state-of-the-art digitalization service with its cutting-edge equipment known as “Book Eyes.” This advanced digitalization machine has the capability to scan up to a million materials and resources, making it available for commercial use.
All members of the university, including both students and staff, can take advantage of this service to digitize their materials, whether they are certificates, books, or even building plans, all at an exceptionally affordable rate. The primary objective of “Book Eyes” is to safeguard our valuable materials from potential destruction by converting them into digital formats.
This new phenomenal technology is giving vent to the e-library project of the University, thus making the citadel of learning- “primus inter pares”
