NIPR SIGNS MoA with BPSR on Technical Trainings for CEOs

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) in Abuja to provide technical trainings for CEOs and top management staff of MDAs and government parastatals.

The MoA is to reinvent, reinvigorate, re-orientate and strengthen the capacity of CEOs and other management staff in delivering citizen-driven public service for better performance through improved, more effective, and efficient service in the nation’s public service.

Signing on behalf of NIPR, the Registrar, Secretary to Council, Chief Uzoma Onyegbadue, fnipr, lauded the initiative and expressed confidence that the project will birth a new narrative in thecountry’s civil service.

In his speech, the Director General of BPSR, Dr. D. I. Arabi who signed on behalf of the Bureau said that the MoA is coming at a time when the civil service is undergoing major reforms, and will help the establishment to achieve its set out goals.

In the NIPR team were Barr. Moses Duku, Chairman of the Joint Planning Committee for the training; Tonia Monye and Mrs. Chidimma Awak from the national secretariat.
