The Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba (Professor) Saka Adelola Matemilola has commended PR Primus Limited for the inclusion of an Empowerment Scheme for indigent students in its forthcoming annual Your Image Awards and Lecture.
The Monarch said this whilst receiving the Management team of PR Primus led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Akin Okudero at his Palace on Tuesday.
He commended the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for upholding professionalism and excellence and condemned quackery. He thanked practitioners for assisting in publicising laudable programmes and achievements.
Oba Matemilola described Public Relations as a necessary skill needed by all for engendering peace, progress and development in the society.
He pledged his unflinching support for the Second Your Image Awards and Annual Lecture scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 1st November, 2023 and accepted the invitation to chair the ceremony.
Earlier, the CEO of PR Primus, had intimated the monarch of the commitment of the company to celebrate deserving individuals and organisations in partnership with the Ogun State Chapter of the NIPR.
The Towulade of Akinale, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, the Akogun of Owu Kingdom, High Chief Isola Akinsipo, the Osupori, Chief Olusola Adeoye and the Orunto of Owu Kingdom, Chief Abiodun Lasile as well as Messrs Dara Adebimpe, Dare Folarin and Lekan Okudero were present at the reception.
