ONAFADEJI CHARGES PR PRACTITIONERS TO BE VISIONARY

A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and one of the pioneer State Chairmen, Ogun NIPR ( 1990 to 1994), Otunba Kayode Onafadeji, gave the advice whilst delivering the July lecture at the Business Meeting of Ogun NIPR titled “In the Beginning: Ogun NIPR and Professionalism”.

He recalled that activities and events were organised by the Chapter then like the Ogun State NIPR Award Nights were classy and highly coveted as the Chapter set the pace for Public Relations practice in the country while members were well respected and given choice appointments in the state.
He charged members to demonstrate strong commitments to activities of Ogun NIPR and urged them to build a befitting Secretariat by reaching out to well meaning Nigerians and corporate organisations.

He said members should be proactive, deliberate, excellent and professional in the discharge of their vital duties.

Welcoming members earlier, the State Chairman, Ogun NIPR, Mrs Oluwaseun Boye, charged members to continue to support the Chapter activites especially the forthcoming Colloquium and Journal publication and thanked the guest speaker for sharing his over 40 years experience in Public Relations practice.
