Priorise Excellent Service Built on Solid Character and Content- Ike Neliaku

Earlier today, NIPR President, Dr. Ike Neliaku spoke at Bayero University Kano (BUK) during the opening ceremony of the 2025 PR Conference of the Nigeria Customs Service where he charged the participants to prioritise excellent service built on solid character and content against eye service.

The President, who spoke extensively on the critical roles of Public Relations Officers in institutional growth and development, said integrity remains a key component of trust building among stakeholders.

He commended the Customs corporate communications’ innovative approach to public engagements; while calling on all Public Relations practitioners across various sectors of the economy to uphold the tenets of professionalism in the discharge of their duties, be strategic in their message and deliberate in their behaviour.

The event with the theme – ‘Beyond Masters of Ceremonies: The Strategic Role of Public Relations Officers for Institutional Growth and Stakeholders’ Trust’ had top management staff of BUK and the university’s Mass Communication students in attendance.
