The ProChancellor and Chairman of Council, Alhaji Umar Ahmed, (CAN) will lead the Governing Council and Senate for formal Investiture of the recently appointed Vice Chancellor, Professor Olusola Babatunde KEHINDE as the 7th Substantive Vice Chancellor of The Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta on Monday, 3rd April, 2023 at 11.00am.
The event which will take place at the Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremorials Building will be witnessed by the University community amongst other important dignitaries.
It would be recalled that the Governing Council at its special meeting of 7th March, 2023 approved the appointment of Prof Olusola Babatunde KEHINDE, FGSN, FIHS as the 7th substantive Vice Chancellor.
The appointment followed a keenly contested competition for the position. Professor Olusola Babatunde KEHINDE emerged the best amongst the fourteen candidates who applied for the position.
Professor KEHINDE, a native of Gbagura, Abeokuta North Local Government Area was born on 22nd December, 1964.
