A distinguished delegation of Nigeria’s most accomplished Public Relations professionals have arrived in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, ahead of the 2025 Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Week (NPRW). Travelling via Ibom Air, the PR veterans include Dr. Adekunle Salu, Akin Okudero, Mazi Mike Okereke and Alhaji Abiodun Olatunbosun, including Mr. Olasunkanmi Olajide, figures widely regarded as trailblazers in the African communications landscape.
The former NIPR President Mazi Mike Okereke and Pioneer Registrar, Dr. Adekunle Salu were warmly received by the Director, Public Relations Stanley Ogadigo.
Their presence underscores the strategic importance of this year’s NPRW, which aimed to foster dialogue on the evolving role of Public Relations in shaping national development, trust-building, and reputation management in Africa and beyond.
