The dreams of the Senior Staff of the Federal Capital Territory, Internal Revenue Service(FCT) Abuja to belong to SSASCGOC, the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies came to reality as the new Executives of the SSASCGOC Branch were inaugurated on Friday, 5th June, 2026.
Inaugurated to run the affairs of the new SSASCGOC FCT IRS Branch were:
- Branch President: Dianne Nsefik
- Vice President: Hussaini Aliyu
- Branch Secretary: Muhammad Murtala Chubado
- PRO: Daniel Benedict
- Auditor: Tahir Abdullahi
- Trustee I: Henrietta Agbeni Addria
- Trustee II: Thomas Adabanya Vincent
- Trustee III: Binta Bala Salisu
The President General, SSASCGOC- Comrade Kayode Surajudeen Alakija while speaking through the Acting General Secretary, Comrade Akin Okudero commended the efforts the new Executives and the entire members for identifying with the visionary strides taking place in SSASCGOC.
Speaking further, Comrade Akin Okudero welcomed the new Branch and encouraged them to partner with the FCT, INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE Management in achieving the corporate objectives and goals for which the service was established.
Also welcoming the new Executives and members, the Branch President, FCTA/FCDA Comrade Rifkatu Iortyer and Secretary Comrade Enojo reiterated the welfare opportunities available for the new members, particularly the uniqueness of SSASCGOC in not only pursuing with vigour the interests of her members, but also adding value to the members and the organisations.
FCT IRS Branch is a creation of the Federal Capital Territory ACT of 2015 which makes it an entity different from the core civil service organisation hence, it belongs to SSASCGOC as a government business concern.
